Lead Test Analyst - São Paulo
On a day-to-day basis, consumers are using the payment infrastructure by purchasing goods in shops and performing online payments or even by withdrawing money from ATMs. New technologies such as chip cards (EMV technology), contactless cards and Mobile Payments (NFC) are coming up rapidly. UL supported many initiatives where a consumer can use a mobile phone to do in-shop payments (instead of using a card). Have you ever thought about paying your journey by train with your mobile phone?
To ensure that these new technologies are working correctly, UL Transaction Security tests and certifies these technologies before market release. We test Point-of-Sale systems, cards, mobile handsets, banking systems, processing networks and many more systems in the world of payments, transit and mobile.
UL Transaction Security ensures interoperability of payment cards, terminals and host systems by delivering testing and certification services to the major payment schemes and TOP 500 financials. As a result of the gained knowledge and experience from this certification services UL Transaction Security enables a better time to market for upcoming uplifts of secure transaction infrastructures needed for industry trends, like contactless payments, mobile payments and transit solutions.
