Job Summary

The iOS team is looking for a QA Engineer with strong Mobile OS and Application fundamentals and a desire to work with an amazing team. Every individual on our team makes a clear difference to the product. Your primary responsibility is to focus on international and network dependent features of our applications and mobile devices to ensure that we have an amazing product everywhere we ship. Native language localization skills relevant to Brazil are required. Communication skills and the ability to understand and prioritize issues are essential.

Key Qualifications

Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal in Portuguese and English
Self-motivated and pro-active with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
Flexibility to respond and react to changing priorities quickly and efficiently
Strong understanding of Mac OS X, Windows XP/Vista, debugging tools and Terminal
Basic coding or scripting skills. Preferably Obj C, C, C++, Perl, or shell scripting

Description

You will be responsible for daily testing of our world class applications within the local carrier networks with an eye for international issues. These include in depth testing of daily builds including design and implementation of test plans and test cases. You will be interacting with international testers, development engineers and the carrier core support teams to help reproduce issues and test features. You will be based in Sao Paulo but international travel will be required.

Education

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements

Fluent in multiple languages and region experience a plus Familiarity with software mobile applications and its network dependences Understanding of wireless technologies: GSM, UMTS, CDMA, LTE Experience with Network Operators Experience in shipping international software or products Working knowledge of Windows testing and troubleshooting Automation and Tools development CV’s submitted in English
