The International Quality Manager - CLAC leads PayPal’s regional Quality in Mexico and Central Latin America. At the core of this role is the unique challenge of tackling the complexity of PayPal’s Central and Latin American ecommerce payment services that serve as a key business platform for thousands of unique merchants and customers. Our applications must be fault tolerant and highly available in every supported language and locale. This role has a unique opportunity to provide quality leadership to products and regional solutions available in the Central and Latin American market.?
Responsibilities include international collaboration with PayPal’s regional solution management, working with engineering teams delivering code to the CLAC market driving quality upstream in the delivery cycle. This position is based in Mexico City and reports to the Director of International Quality based in the United States.?.
The International Quality Manager (IQM) Deliverables:
Support New Features Stories - analysis, review, and quality improvements for the local CLAC market
Test Plans & Test Cases - analysis, review, and quality improvements to meet all local requirements - functional, legal and cultural.
Testing Process - analysis, review, and quality improvements in the test execution
Quality Gap Analysis - close the gaps identified to meet local market requirements
Product Quality Management - Overall Product Quality Monitoring, Reporting, Follow -up with our internal partners
Communication - maintain a continuous communication flow with key stakeholders of the different product solutions deployed in the region
We are seeking an individual who is looking for an international challenge, a person passionate about delivering high quality products. The candidate must have an understanding of the software development life cycle with a solid experience in quality assurance, quality engineering and/or testing background. 3+ years experience in a fast-paced software industry with an excellent understanding of Quality Assurance principles
3+ years’ experience assessing, defining, and building test collateral material (Test Plans, Test Cases, Manual/Automation Testing, Test Reports, etc.)
2+ years’ experience interacting with geo-located teams
Outstanding presentation and written skills as well as the ability to deal effectively with both technologists and business representatives from a variety of international backgrounds.
Exposure to payments of banking systems testing a plus
Fluency in English and Spanish
Bachelors Degree or equivalent (Scientific prefered)
